This class will introduce students to the basic principles of exploring anatomy through dissection. Students will learn terminology, instrumentation and equipment, and proper dissection techniques. Students will also learn through discussions on comparative anatomy and what this suggests about the origins of living creatures. The class will be taught from a creationist perspective, but questions and discussion from other points of view are welcome.
This class will have very focused and intensive instruction, so students will receive a lot of information in a short amount of time. Class is geared toward high school students or advanced 7th-8th grade students if attended with a parent. The fee includes all lab supplies and specimens.
This is a great addition to your high school science curriculum to help complete the lab requirement!
