We used this program for our family and found that we mostly just used the great spelling lists. If you read the introduction and are overwhelmed by the possibilities, you might just try it the way we used it. We did spelling 2x per week after using the placement tests to choose the appropriate level for each child. I would give the child the list orally. They would spell each word, and I would correct it if wrong. At the end of the list, I would have them write down the few words they had missed. These were the words they would practice. If they had spelled a word correctly, then they were done with that word. Two days later, we would review the words they had practiced and move on to the next word group. EASY!
