Singapore Math is “accelerated” when compared with many other math programs in the U.S. This Placement Guide is for students who use Singapore Math from the first level. Students who come to Singapore Math from another curriculum may not have the necessary background to begin at the level suggested in this guide without review from earlier levels. We suggest that you use the Placement Tests to decide where to place students new to Singapore Math, or to get an idea of which concepts may have to be reviewed from an earlier level.

The curriculum is published in semester sets. Two sets comprise one year of study.
